Solitaire King is a free single-player card game for Android developed by Liaquat. It is a solitaire game, challenging the players to build up the four stacks—from ace to king—in their respective suits. The game is played against a classic background so it will be easy to read the cards, even on a small screen.

Unlike Microsoft's Solitaire Collection, however, Solitaire King has only the traditional version. It also does not have any customization options. Not only that, but it is still in the development stages, so it can be unstable at times. 

How do you play the game?

Solitaire King is a classic solitaire game. If you are familiar with the physical version, then playing it will be easy. Once launched, you will see four spaces at the top of your screen. Your goal is to build the stacks of cards from aces to kings in their respective suits in each space. You will draw cards from the 52-card deck and move them between the stacks below.  

The screen layout is simple. As mentioned, the background is in classic green, allowing you to see each card clearly. There are also only three icons on the lower part, which corresponds to the Options button, Game Reset button, and Tips button. If you tap the Tips button, it will show you the next move you should make. Meanwhile, you can move the cards with a tap or drag.

However, while the game is enjoyable, there are some compromises to it. For one, it is only playable solo. Also, as noted, there are no customization options available, so you will play it as it is. But the biggest issue is the adverts that are so intrusive they make it impossible to play. Some video ads even contain expletives with no warnings. Worse still is that there's no way to stop them. 

Is the game worth downloading?

Solitaire King is a good game to play when you want to pass the time—that is, if it actually allows you to play at all. It is nothing more than an ad factory, bombarding you with adverts after adverts that you cannot even play a single session. Rather than a proper game, this app is a vehicle to get ads onto people's phones.
