The program includes a web portal and a mobile application, allowing for the collection of traveler details through self-declaration forms, helpline calls, and information from the Government of India. Users receive a unique Traveller ID upon submission of details, enabling them to download the SMC Patient Tracker Mobile App.

Citizens are encouraged to report traveler details or suspects via the helpline, where information is verified by health officials. Individuals using the app must fill a health questionnaire twice daily, sending a selfie along with responses. Location tracking ensures compliance with home quarantine guidelines, with strict actions taken against violators. Daily follow-ups and contact tracing mechanisms are also integrated into the system, with MIS reports aiding in monitoring and decision-making.
