What is SmartBooks?

SmartBooks is an innovative e-learning platform that will transform the teaching of reading in Cambodia. This project is part of a larger project which will be implemented in the form of a software application. The application will be developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the School Education Office (SEO), and the Kampuchean Action for Primary Education (KAPE).

How does it work?

SmartBooks will be developed as a software application that can be installed on Android devices. It is designed to work as an e-learning platform, which will enable the teachers to provide the learning materials to the students in an interactive way. The application will be developed to include a module that will allow the teachers to determine the reading level of the students. The teachers will be able to provide the learning materials to the students in an interactive way, which will help the students to learn to read in a faster way.

The application will also include a module that will allow the teachers to assess the reading proficiency of the students. The teachers will be able to use the application to assess the reading level of the students and to determine their current reading status.
