SlumberNapped is an adventure-based role-playing game developed and published by Kappawumpus for desktop gaming, where you enter a world of dreams, a realm with so much mystery and exploration to offer. However, one obstacle remains, and it’s the King of Nightmares who has been SlumberSnapping everyone. 

The King of Nightmares is on a devilish mission in SlumberNapped to banish the concept of dreams forever, and there is only one who can stop him— you. Board Captain Waffles' Airship, sail across the dream world, and dive into the scary nightmares of four SlumberNapped Dreamers.

In SlumberNapped, collectible trading cards from the 90's are your weapons, so build each of your character with a formidable deck of cards to fight against various nightmares, including defeating the greedy overlords in June’s office nightmare, survive Ed's Drive-In of the damned, joke around Loura's Circus of Terror, and manage to get a prescription at Buddy's Body Odyssey for fun. 

Remember, though. Battles are not randomized, and each battle can be chosen or avoided. If you feel like your decks are not on par with the monsters across the dream world, you can jump around and avoid them until you can meet other card traders and exchange cards that can amplify your decks, allowing you to fight off strong monsters on your journey. 

Still, you must be strategic when fighting. Time your offense and defense perfectly and stack up cards to unleash devastating power at the right time. If you encounter any problem, you can turn to vending machines and your handy items to resolve them. However, one of the main drawbacks of this game is that managing multiple decks for party members can become complex and overwhelming over long play sessions. 

Colorful and fun 

SlumberNapped offers a colorful, imaginative journey through a dream world filled with quirky nightmares, exploration, and strategic card battles. Sailing with Captain Waffles and confronting the King of Nightmares gives a sense of epic adventure, while collectible decks add depth. However, juggling multiple decks can feel overwhelming, and the game’s unique charm may not appeal to players seeking a more straightforward RPG experience.
