Slime Rancher is a first-person sandbox first-person adventure game that immerses players in the whimsical and colorful world of Beatrix LeBeau, a plucky rancher who embarks on a new life on the Far, Far Range. In the game, players wrangle and care for a variety of adorable, gelatinous creatures known as slimes.

In Slime Rancher your goal is to amass a fortune in the business of slime ranching by collecting slimes of various colors, growing crops, harvesting resources, and navigating the untamed wilderness using the vacpack. Players inherit a ranch from Hobson Twillgers and need to get it up and running and dominate the Plort Market.

The entirety of the game offers a rich and creative experience with over 150 hybrid slime combinations to discover and has different game modes to cater to various playstyles, including Adventure, Casual, and Rush. However, some players may find that the game can become repetitive over time.
