Mining the skies of a gas giant

SkyRig is a simulation game that blends sci-fi engineering, resource management, and survival into a unique systems-builder set above the storm-wracked world of Cirrus-7b. As Commander for Thorne Industrial, you’ll construct modular floating rigs, harness volatile elements, and push human ingenuity into one of the harshest frontiers imaginable.

Building against the storm

The heart of SkyRig lies in its deep construction system. Every rig is designed from modular components—balloon arrays, chemical processors, heat shields, and pressure chambers—that respond dynamically to environmental hazards. Placement is fully three-dimensional, creating endless configurations that can adapt to Cirrus-7b’s violent weather and crushing atmospheric pressures.

As you descend through atmospheric layers, the stakes rise dramatically. Lightning storms, system failures, and resource shortages force players to plan carefully while experimenting with new technologies. Contracts and missions expand the Orbital Hub into a thriving trade center, rewarding players with advanced components and rare materials. Progression becomes a balance between risk and discovery. However, note that this one is still in active development

Survival through science

SkyRig rewards curiosity and resilience. By combining chemistry, engineering, and strategy, it delivers a compelling survival-builder where progress feels hard-earned and meaningful. For players who thrive on complexity and the thrill of conquering the unknown, it’s a bold and rewarding adventure.
