The Six Thinking Hats App is a handy tool for the user to help him in solving the various problems he may encounter.

It is based on a method that was developed by Edward de Bono. The method is a thinking tool that can be used in meetings and conferences.

The user can either choose to wear one of the six hats during the meeting or conference. Each colored one has its individual brand of thinking - for example, the red hat should represent surveying problems using intuition, emotion, gut instinct, and empathy.  The white hat focuses on the available data such as past trends or historical data. The green hat stands for creative thinking. The black hat is for the pessimist - as it tends to focus on all the negative aspects - so that there is balance, and there can be apt plans for defense or caution. The yellow hat is for the optimist - and tends to focus on all the positives. The blue hat is for process control - or else the one who will lead the meetings - and direct the problem solving process.
