Simple DNSCrypt is an open-source, free application for Windows that helps configure dnscrypt-proxy. DNS Crypt basically encrypts DNS lookups to mitigate third parties from spying on lookups. Such encryption is required if you have sensitive data on your computer and you’re using that information within the online realm. Though certain services, such as VPN services, automatically safeguard lookups, the majority of DNS traffic isn’t encrypted. Simple DNSCrypt's user interface has multiple tabs, which make interacting with and using the tool easier. IPv4 servers are listed by default by Simple DNSCrypt and IPv6-related queries get blocked. To enable IPv6 servers, head to the primary menu and under the Advanced Settings, unblock IPv6-related queries.
