Sigueme is a free Android application developed by Fundación Orange and the University of Granada in collaboration with the Hermanas Hospitalarias de Granada and Everyware. The app is an educational tool designed to enhance the visual-perceptual and cognitive-visual processes and promote access to word meaning in children with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disabilities. It consists of six phases, starting from basic stimulation to the acquisition of meaning through videos, photographs, drawings, and pictograms. The later phases include categorization and association activities through games.

Sigueme aims to improve visual fixation and tracking, attention to basic stimuli, and observation skills using simple, clear, familiar, and progressively challenging images. The app also focuses on enhancing mental representation and linguistic comprehension through visual and auditory imagery of real-world objects and faces. Additionally, it promotes behavioral improvement related to stereotypies, motivation, general stimulation, and hyperactivity reduction.

The application follows educational strategies that can help users with autism spectrum disorder develop the necessary cognitive structures to compensate for their learning difficulties. These strategies include stable visual elements, predictable visual trajectories, repeated sequences to create constancy and facilitate anticipation, predictable physical environments, aids to convert sequential experiences into a complete meaning, and personalized scenarios, environments, and objects.
