"שקוף - הון-שלטון-עיתון" is a Chrome add-on developed by שקוף-העין-השביעית. It is a special project by "שקוף" and "העין השביעית" that provides vital information about members of the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) and exposes hidden advertisements.

The add-on consists of two main features:

1. Identification of hidden advertisements that masquerade as news content on popular Israeli news websites. It displays prominent alerts on pages that likely contain such content.

2. Comprehensive information about Knesset members on any website you browse. Simply hover over a member's name and instantly receive facts about their performance as public representatives. Find out about attendance records, support for transparency laws, frequent flying, asset disclosures, and more.

Please note that as of December 2021, the Knesset map feature is temporarily disabled for maintenance. However, you can manually activate it from the add-on's menu. Join שקוף to support their work and enable the monitoring of Knesset activities.

"שקוף" is the first Israeli media tool owned and operated directly by the public. It is ad-free, independent of corporate interests and government funding. All funding comes from small individual contributions. Regular supporters guide the journalistic work through their monthly donations.
