Showboat: Football Shirts from Showboat LTD is a mobile app that helps football shirt collectors consolidate and manage their collections. The tool lets users catalogue items, view market valuations, and access a specialized marketplace for authentic kits, while offering discovery features and collection performance tracking. It targets kit enthusiasts, memorabilia investors, and football-history fans who want a single place for inventory, valuation insight, and community browsing. It is available on Android through the Google Play Store.

Showboat requires modern mobile platforms for full access

The app is available on Android and also on iOS, where it requires iOS 15.1 or later, so collectors using older phones need to check compatibility before committing. Installation and store distribution are handled through the platform stores, which makes updates straightforward. For collectors who switch devices, the presence on both major mobile stores helps keep a single catalogue accessible across devices without manual spreadsheet transfers.

The in-app marketplace prioritizes authenticity through seller vetting

The marketplace is presented as a verified channel that connects buyers to authenticated sellers, and the platform emphasizes a vetted-seller system to protect rare and vintage kit transactions. That model reduces the ordinary verification burden on buyers: the app flags trusted listings rather than leaving authenticity checks entirely to the purchaser. For collectors of high-value shirts, the marketplace model reduces exposure to unverifiable sources.

Valuation tools give collectors ongoing market visibility

The app uses a proprietary valuation engine to provide real-time market insights and to track portfolio performance over time, so owners can monitor value trends for individual shirts and whole collections. Portfolio tracking is presented as a continuous metric rather than a one-off estimate, which helps users observe appreciation or depreciation as market conditions change. Those who follow kit values closely get measurable, date-stamped estimates for decision making.

Community and collection features suit focused kit enthusiasts

The social side centers on kit culture rather than general sports news, with wishlist and shortlist tools that help plan acquisitions and curated browsing that encourages discovery. The developer, Showboat LTD (registered as SHOWBOAT SPORTS LIMITED in the UK), builds the app specifically for the collecting niche, which explains the narrowly focused social ecosystem and specialised tooling aimed at collectors and memorabilia investors.

To sum up, Showboat suits dedicated kit collectors seeking a focused catalog and market reference

To sum up, Showboat is a practical option for collectors who want centralized collection management and market-aware reference material; casual fans who prefer broad sports coverage may find its kit-centric focus narrow. The discovery feed of over 35,000 uploaded shirts and a high App Store rating give collectors a large visual reference and positive community endorsement for sourcing and valuation research.
