You play as a knight named Shovel Knight. You are a member of the mysterious Order of No Quarter. You have been sent on a mission to save the people of the land from the evil forces that have taken over the land.

This is not an ordinary platformer. The levels in this game are much more than just another platformer level. This is an entire campaign that you need to play through. There are lots of different worlds and stages. Each world is full of unique enemies. In order to defeat these enemies, you need to have different kinds of powers and abilities.
