Once installed, ShopBuddy displays a pop-up with ethical ratings in the form of emojis when you visit a brand's website. The ratings are based on a 1-5 scale and cover four key areas: overall brand, environment, labor conditions, and animal welfare. To assist users in understanding these ratings, there is a guide available at the top of the pop-up.

While the extension currently features a search bar, it is still in the development phase. The developers appreciate the patience of users as they work on implementing this feature.
