This fun and easy shooting experience lets you adjust your firing angle, hide behind obstacles, and use traps to advance to the next stage. Be careful, though, as criminals may be armed and hostages might be put in danger.

Its simplistic graphics and use of ricochet as a puzzle element make shoot’em all a great alternative to other shooting puzzles like Mr. Bullet or Johnny Trigger. However, this game also features humor, mainly through the animations.

All in a day’s job

Like most casual games, shoot’em all does not have a story. The game puts you in the shoes of a police officer going after criminals who inexplicably all look alike. The character designs are simple, with a single design for each character type: the police, criminals, and the screaming hostage. The game gets increasingly more challenging as you face more criminals, more traps, and hostages in more critical positions.

The game offers some challenges as you go along. As you move your gun, so do the criminals. Remember that if you get hit once, it’s game over for you. Additionally, some stages will require you to bounce your bullet off walls and platforms. Unfortunately, the game kills off its own thrill by adding a laser sight that extends all the way to the end, making it unnecessarily easier.

Lastly, like most games on mobile, this game also suffers from incessant ads. What makes it worse, in this case, is that full-screen ads appear every other level, which essentially makes you spend more time watching ads than playing the actual game. It’s also worth mentioning that once you figure out the firing angle, the level is as good as done–something you can do in a couple of seconds.

Not worth the trouble

While shoot’em all tries to make the game more fun by adding humor and making it easier. Sure, it has simple designs and the game does get a bit more challenging later on. Still, it’s the frequency of the ads compared to the content that serves as the nail in the coffin. If you’re after shooting puzzles, the alternatives mentioned above are still ahead by a couple of steps.
