Shimeji Friends is an app that injects a bunch of cute, animated characters or 'pets' to your home screen. It does not change anything you do not want to change - it simply adds a Shimeji of choice - or 12 (the maximum amount) on top of your screen. 

There are more than 150 pets in the lineup. They all contain animations that are very unique to this app, which you will not find on another similar platform. Animations are constantly updated - new ones always added - so that there's always something to look forward to.

Characters seem inspired by anime/manga sketch and coloring techniques. These visuals are completed by expressions and animations anime characters are notorious for - which makes their funny little presence on your mobile so much more adorable.
