In addition to attendance marking, SHIKSHA SETU AXOM facilitates in-app staff and student enrollment, so data can be synced to the server right away. It also functions as a data-gathering tool, allowing the government of Assam to analyze school data to improve the local education sector. 

Although the app employs facial recognition technology in attendance and enrollment, it sometimes doesn’t recognize a person’s face—making the process more time-consuming for school employees. There are even instances when it won’t display your students’ names and photos. The app’s unresponsiveness also adds to the frustration.

Technical issues make it irritating to use
