Shikon-X Astro Defense Fortress is a graphic adventure game from Kindermann Corp. where you play as the female protagonist, Major Daaia, on an epic mission to save the Earth. Currently available in a demo version, the game offers a streamlined point-and-click experience and dozens of retro-inspired arcade mini-games.

Major Daaia to the rescue

Inspired by 80s and 90s graphic adventure games like the acclaimed Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Shikon-X Astro Defense Fortress features the protagonist Major Daaia, the only pilot who can fly Shikon-X, as she tries to foil the attacks of the rival force, Rolars, on the Earth.

As Major Daaia, you must visit alien planets, meet weird characters, and unravel the truth behind the threats of Rolars. There’s no frantic clicking, even in the arcade mini-games. Just interact with the characters and objects to advance the plot. Still, the game is not yet fully fleshed out.

Approachable entry point

Shikon-X Astro Defense Fortress opens up the point-and-click adventure genre for casual players who are not used to feverish clicking. Instead, the game lets you interact with diverse characters and objects to drive the narrative forward. In between missions, you can even play arcade mini-games inspired by classic titles.
