This program was created specifically for Chromebook users who want to save Japanese text files in Shift-JIS format.

During operation, the settings for this Chrome extension are saved using the chrome.storage functionality. The settings are stored locally in Chrome and can be synchronized with your Chrome account. However, the auto-save feature for the memo content is only saved locally and cannot be synchronized with your Chrome account. It is limited to the specific device.

Please note that the chrome.storage functionality caches the settings in different locations depending on the operating system and version of Chrome.
