Sherlock Holmes The Awakened is a game based on Sherlock Holmes, in which you are a detective who has to solve a series of murders that have been taking place in different cities and countries. Each city is based on a different setting, such as London, New Orleans, Egypt, and Switzerland. Each game has a different mystery and a different criminal, such as Charles Dexter Ward, the first criminal you encounter in New Orleans, and the second, Jason Smart.

The game is based on the universe of Sherlock Holmes, created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The main difference between the game and the original, is that Sherlock Holmes is a detective, and you have to solve a series of murders.
