"商工中金　口座開設アプリ" is an app that allows users to easily apply for a new account without the need to visit a physical branch.

For new account openings:

1. Download the app

2. Verify your phone number using SMS authentication

3. Take a photo of your driver's license

4. Input your personal information

5. After submitting the information, you will receive your passbook and other documents within approximately 1-2 weeks

6. Once you have received your passbook, you will receive your cash card within approximately 2 weeks

Eligibility:

• Individuals aged 18 and above who do not currently have an account with 商工中金
• Japanese nationals residing in Japan
• Individuals who possess a driver's license with their current residential address

Please note:

• While the app is free to download, data charges may apply during the download and usage.
• Even if your device is compatible with this app, it may not function properly depending on your smartphone usage conditions.
• The bank may contact you by phone regarding your application and may request additional documents.
• The bank reserves the right to decline account openings at their discretion.
