Shah Jo Risalo is the title of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai's collection of verses. It is thought that Shah's verses were compiled during his lifetime, but he objected and tosses the only manuscript of his verses into a pond. Subsequently, his followers requested that he write some verses, so he told them many verses that were written down. However, a large portion his work was never written down but rather was memorized by people, becoming popular in Sindh folk culture. Shah Jo Risalo's traditional compilations include 30 chapters compiled by scholars and researchers.
