Sewer Rave Twitter Royale is a free simulation video game wherein you get to hear rats bust out some Tweets. Developed by Autumn Rain, this 3D indie game is a quick side game to Sewer Rave and just lets you walk around and check out whatever Twitter posts the characters have come up with. Unlike the first game, however, this one is extremely short since it’s just a gimmicky Twitter game.

The party continues

Sewer Rave is a surreal first-person randomized exploration indie game wherein you crawl around a rat-infested sewer during a giant rave party. Created by the same developer and released in 2018, it features the type of gameplay that entails discovering secrets, puzzles, and minigames around the map to mingle with the characters. It can take about an hour to finish but there’s enough content to keep you entertained for several replays. 

In terms of extra content, however, Sewer Rave Twitter Royale is almost an entirely different game altogether. It’s still set in the same universe as the first game—and you can even think that it’s the same sewer party—but there are no puzzles or confusing end goals to achieve. You just simply walk up to rats and see what they have to say—and this comes in the form of Twitter posts. 

This is because the game will require you to enter an existing account name from the social media platform and it will generate Tweets for the rats based on your feed. After that, you just simply walk around checking their Tweets. There’s not much else to do; you can now click on a rat to grab them but that’s it. This could’ve been an extra game mode on the first game instead of a separate download.

Just something on the side

All in all, Sewer Rave Twitter Royale is a nice little extra content to enjoy if you liked Sewer Rave. However, after a while, there’s really not much gameplay in it to make you stay as long as you did on the original game. Plus, you need an actual public Twitter account to play this game. If you enter one that doesn’t exist, the game will just reset.
