A strategy RPG that combines tactical combat and hero building
Seven Hearts is a premium role-playing game that blends hero collection, tactical combat, and real-time strategy. Set in a world under siege, it puts you in command of a customizable team drawn from hundreds of heroes across multiple classes. Each mission requires planning, coordination, and smart use of skills to win battles and reclaim lost ground.
If you’ve played Raid: Shadow Legends, Seven Hearts will feel familiar in its team-based combat and upgrade systems. However, it adds more depth through its tower defense feature and diverse gameplay modes that emphasize real-time decisions and class synergy.
A realm under siege and a team to lead
In Seven Hearts, Asgard has fallen to the undead, and it’s your job to restore order by leading a team of heroes. You’ll build your squad from over 250 characters across seven distinct classes. As you progress, you’ll unlock the Sanctuary towers, recover ancient powers, and strengthen your team for the challenges ahead. The narrative is simple, but it provides a clear structure for your journey.
Combat plays out in real time, so positioning and timing matter. You’ll need to choose your heroes carefully, build multiple decks, and adjust to enemy types. Tanks offer support through unique skills, and your success depends on how well you coordinate your team. The strategy here isn’t just about power—it’s about how well each part of your team works together under pressure.
You’ll have access to nine gameplay modes, ranging from solo campaigns to online co-op and PvP arenas. PvP battles involve defending and attacking player-built towers, while guild raids bring teams together against powerful bosses. Customizing gear and unlocking new heroes also play a big role in progression. While the game is engaging on its own, customizing builds and upgrading equipment can feel limited without making additional purchases.
Well-built but heavily monetized
To sum up, Seven Hearts delivers a well-rounded experience for players who enjoy tactical planning and team-based battles. It doesn’t stray far from established RPG systems but makes the most of its variety in gameplay modes and hero customization options. Despite relying on microtransactions for deeper customization options, its core gameplay remains enjoyable, especially when played with friends or in multiplayer matches.
