SentiSurv RLP is the official app of the SentiSurv RLP study, commissioned by the Ministry of Science and Health of the state of Rheinland-Pfalz and conducted by Universitätsmedizin Mainz. This app serves as a surveillance tool for monitoring the SARS-CoV-2 (Coronavirus) pandemic and acts as an early warning system. By continuously observing the infection situation, any regional increase in new infections can be detected early on, allowing for timely and localized responses.

The "SentiSurv RLP App" is designed for the regular surveying of approximately 14,000 randomly selected individuals from the cities of Mainz, Kaiserslautern, Koblenz, Ludwigshafen, and Trier. To log in, participants need a personal QR code/number, which is provided to them by the SentiSurv team via email. The app can only be used by individuals who are registered as participants in the study.
