The Senior Citizen Card Scheme is a program introduced by the Government of Hong Kong to provide social benefits to the elderly and to ensure that they are kept in the community.

In order to be eligible for the Senior Citizen Card Scheme, you must be a Hong Kong citizen and over 60 years old. You must have a Hong Kong identity card and be living in Hong Kong.

The Card will be issued by the Social Welfare Department and you can use it to access the following services:

1) Medical and Dental Fund – you can claim the amount of your monthly spend on medical and dental services.

2) Meals – you can claim the amount of your monthly spend on meals.
