Send2 is a free Chrome extension developed by Geekspired that allows users to easily send selected text or the current URL to a selected Google Doc. Additionally, users can send the current URL as a text message to any number in the US.

To get started, simply click on the Send2 icon on your Google Chrome extension bar and authorize the app to select files for storing information. Once authorized, choose the document you wish to use and select the text you want to save. Right-click on the selected text and click on the Send2 icon to send it directly to the Google Doc. You will be able to see the copied text in the selected Google Doc instantly.

The extension offers a range of convenient features. By clicking on the pop-up, you can choose to send the text to the top or bottom of the document. Additionally, you can right-click on links or images to send the link to the document, making it easy to gather all relevant information in one place.

Please note that while the extension is free, there is a limit on the number of saves you can do daily due to Google's access fees and SMS fees. Subscribing to Send2 will increase this limit, and donations will help the developer increase the limit for both free and subscribed users.

Send2 is a powerful tool for anyone who frequently works with Google Docs and wants a seamless way to transfer information from their browser. Try it out today and streamline your workflow!
