BTS (Hangul: 방탄소년단; RR: Bangtan Sonyeondan), also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed in 2013. The name was changed to BTS in 2017. The group is considered one of the most popular boy bands of all time. They have achieved a worldwide fan base through their energetic live performances, unusual song sounds, and a catchy musical style.
