Selection Colors is a free Chrome add-on developed by Rob Bennett that allows users to easily change the font color and background color of selected text. The standard dark blue highlight and white text can often be difficult to read, but with this extension, users can customize the selection effects to be more readable and visually appealing. This add-on is perfect for those who want to enhance their browsing experience by personalizing the colors of selected text.

With Selection Colors, users can pick any color and adjust the transparency to their liking. Simply open the options for the extension, choose a color (default settings are recommended, with only the background hue changed), refresh each tab, and select text to see the new colors in action. The extension also offers options to customize the background color and text color separately, allowing users to create their desired visual effect.

One of the standout features of Selection Colors is its storage sync capability. This means that the options chosen by the user are saved and can be easily accessed on any computer. So whether you're using Chrome on your personal computer or a shared device, you can have your preferred selection colors available without any hassle.
