One of the benefits of using 세종 여민전 is the cashback feature. When making payments with the local currency, a certain percentage of the payment amount is accumulated as cash. The accumulated cash can be used for the next payment, and users can also choose to enable or disable cash usage through the app. In case of payment cancellation, the accumulated cash will be recovered, or if there is no accumulated cash, it will be deducted from the remaining balance.

To operate the app, 세종 여민전 requires access to the device's storage for necessary file storage. Additionally, it may request optional access to location information for providing a list of affiliated merchants and to use biometric authentication as an alternative means of identity verification for local currency payments. However, the app can still be used without granting these optional permissions.
