Seen That! For YouTube is a Chrome extension developed by Arun Sundaram. It falls under the category of Browsers and the subcategory of Add-ons & Tools. This free extension aims to eliminate the annoyance of constantly seeing recommended videos on YouTube that you have already watched or decided not to finish.

To make use of Seen That!, you need to be signed into YouTube and have your watch history unpaused. The extension utilizes YouTube's watch history to identify and hide suggestions for videos that you have already seen. You can easily toggle this feature on or off by visiting the watch history settings on YouTube's website.

What sets Seen That! apart is its customization options. You can choose to hide recommendations on various pages, including the Home Page, Watch Page, Subscriptions, Channel Videos, and Search Results. Additionally, you have the flexibility to further filter the videos by hiding only those that you have watched past a certain percentage or by hiding playlist recommendations.

It is worth noting that Seen That! does not collect any user data. However, it does require access to your YouTube account's watch history in order to function properly. You can easily identify if the extension is active by looking for the red bar at the bottom of thumbnails, indicating videos that you have already started watching.

With Seen That! For YouTube, you can finally enjoy a clutter-free YouTube experience by eliminating repetitive video recommendations.
