Sector is a mapping tool designed specifically for classic tabletop Science Fiction Roleplaying games. With just a single click, Sector can generate an entire sector consisting of 16 subsectors, providing a vast array of worlds for both the Game Master and players to explore.

The tool offers a range of features to enhance gameplay, including the generation of Universal Planetary Profiles (UPPs) for every world. It also provides random name generation for worlds, sectors, and subsectors, making it easy to create unique and diverse environments.

One of the standout features of Sector is its beautiful mapping capability. The maps display important information at a glance, such as mainworld size, atmosphere, and surface type. Additionally, the tool automatically calculates and draws minor and major trade routes on the map, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the sector's economic dynamics.

Clusters, chains, and voids are also automatically detected and named, providing further depth to the sector's geography. The map itself is highly interactive, allowing users to pan and zoom with multitouch gestures. Tapping on a world provides more detailed information, while tilting the device slightly shifts the labels and routes.

For ease of use, the navigation and toolbars can be shown or hidden by tapping the map with two fingers. Users can export their maps as beautiful PDF files or as plain text listings, offering flexibility for different needs. Additionally, the tool supports the import of original plain text sector listings in the standard format, with many classic sectors already bundled within the app.

One of the standout features of Sector is its editable map. Users can enter the editing mode and modify the map as desired. This includes removing unwanted worlds or adding new ones to blank hexes. Trade routes and cluster names are automatically generated as changes are made, ensuring the map remains accurate and up to date.
