Search Result Previews is a Chrome add-on developed by juraj.masiar that aims to improve your search experience. This free add-on shows you page thumbnails and favicons next to each search result, allowing you to quickly preview the content before clicking on it.

With Search Result Previews, you no longer have to rely solely on the search result titles and descriptions to determine if a webpage is relevant to your search. The page thumbnails provide a visual representation of the webpage, giving you a better idea of its content and layout. Additionally, the favicons next to each result help you quickly identify the source of the webpage.

This add-on supports popular search engines like Google.com, DuckDuckGo.com, Bing.com, Baidu.com, and more. It also promises to add support for additional search engines in the future. By using Search Result Previews, you can save time and make more informed decisions when browsing the web.

Please note that Search Result Previews is an official replacement for the discontinued "SearchPreview" extension by Edward Ackroyd. It is developed by Juraj Mäsiar, an independent developer and an official friend of Addons. If you appreciate the work done by the developer, you can support them through donations via Ko-Fi.com, PayPal.Me, or Patreon.com.

Privacy-conscious users will be pleased to know that Search Result Previews has a dedicated privacy policy, ensuring the protection of their personal information.

Overall, Search Result Previews is a useful add-on for Chrome users who want to enhance their search experience by previewing search results through page thumbnails and favicons.
