Search Forvo is a free Chrome add-on that allows users to easily search for pronunciations of words or phrases. This beta release was developed by 峰, but the development is currently on hiatus. The add-on was originally created for personal use, but the developer found another tool that better suited their needs. However, they have decided to leave Search Forvo available for others to use.

To use Search Forvo, simply highlight a word or phrase on any webpage, right-click, and select the "Search Forvo" option from the menu. This will open a new tab where you can find the pronunciations of the selected word or phrase. If Forvo doesn't have the entry you're looking for, you can also add a request for the pronunciation.

The extension is derived from another Chrome add-on called "Pronounce Selection" and features an icon sourced from Forvo and Wikimedia Commons.
