Screen Mirror for Oculus is a software utility for the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset that allows you to see what's on your Windows laptop or computer while wearing the headset. The app creates a 360-degree window that shows your full desktop and you can easily drag your mouse to move around your computer screen. The window is created using information from your computer's display and the software renders it for the Oculus Rift headset. However, the app only works when the Oculus Rift is connected and you don't need to have any technical knowledge. Once you have installed the software and you plug in your headset, the app automatically opens and you can view your laptop's screen from a different perspective. The app is simple to use and the developers did a good job in providing a user-friendly and intuitive interface. Users have the option to enable the sound and microphone or turn them off. Also, users can easily choose the distance between them and their monitor. With Screen Mirror, you can view your computer screen as if you were wearing the Oculus Rift. The app features a high resolution and supports most monitors and notebooks, but it's not for all computer screens. However, it works best on Windows 7 and 10 operating systems and does not have any known side effects. The software offers an immersive 3D effect and will let you enjoy the complete view of your computer screen.
