Scanner Drones for The Riftbreaker is a free mod designed for Windows that introduces two exciting Mech Upgrades: Bioscanner Equipment and Geoscanner Equipment. The Bioscanner Equipment upgrade enhances Mr. Riggs with a hitpoint bonus to armor, improved speed, and a Bioscanner Drone that actively scans the surrounding area for interesting objects. Meanwhile, the Geoscanner Equipment upgrade provides a hitpoint boost to the forcefield and deploys a Geoscanner Drone, which seeks out hidden resource caches and can even eliminate explosive mushrooms in the Acid Biome.

Both upgrades can be found in the new "Scanner Drones" research tree, which requires prior research in various categories, such as "Alien Research" and "Cobalt Handling." Additionally, to ensure compatibility, all files included in this mod are new and will not conflict with existing mods. Localizations are available in English, Russian, and Chinese, making it accessible to a wider audience. The mod has been updated to be compatible with Riftbreaker version 2.0.
