Scan4Chem is a free tool that allows you to check whether a product contains any of the 13 most highly-concern chemicals: formaldehyde, 1,4-dioxane, 1,3-dioxane, ethyl benzene, toluene, xylenes, benzophenone, p-toluenesulfonate, naphthalene, 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene, and 2,3,6-trinitrotoluene.

The app can scan any barcode so that the user can know the product's composition, whether it contains a harmful substance, and whether it is safe to use. 

If the product contains a harmful substance, the user will be informed about the specific chemical and its quantity. The user can also request information about the product by sending an inquiry. The company will be notified that there's a need for information on your product and they will add those to the database.

The app can be used to find out the composition of a product.
