Sandhyavandanam is a daily ritualistic prayer performed by dvijas, who are initiated into vedic mantras with proper upanayanam (Sacred thread ceremony) conducted by a Guru. It is the most important ritual of the day, as it is performed at the start of the day to invoke the spirit of the God and to clean the body for the day.

Sandhyavandanam consists of 2 main steps. The first step is the salutations to the Lord Surya Deva by offering Arghyam and performing Gayathri Japam. These 2 steps are the main crux of the ritual. For this, other procedures are also attached, which are part of cleansing the body as achamanam, marjanam, puranam, and so on.

This app provides an end to end solution to perform yajur vedic sandhyavandanam without anybody's assistance. It is designed in such a way that it is very easy to use. The user has to just install the app and follow the steps. There is a separate tab for each day, so that the user can easily go to the required day and perform the ritual. The user has to choose between the morning and evening ritual. He has to choose the time according to his own preference.

The second step is the aikyanusandhanam. The user has to meditate on the identification of his soul with the supreme soul.
