The SAML Chrome Panel is a tool for developers to monitor, debug, and troubleshoot SAML Web SSO transactions and other network-related problems.

The panel aims to emulate the debugging experience of the Firefox version of the tool by allowing developers to view, control, and modify the network traffic of the active tab of the browser. It can also handle a variety of response messages for the current request. The panel does not display the actual HTML of the Web page that is being loaded in the browser.

The panel supports both POST and GET requests. With POST requests, it is possible to display requests that have been sent to the server. For GET requests, the panel will display the URL that is being requested.

As it is currently implemented, the panel will only display a single page. If a user wishes to view another page, they must reload the page. The panel can also be opened in an incognito window if it is necessary for the user to remain anonymous.

If a user has disabled cookies, the panel will not display any cookies in the URL when it is opened in a new tab.

There is a dedicated tab that displays all the data about the currently active tab of the browser. It contains data for the current request and response data.
