Assume an STS role to allow SAML to be signed and AWS CLI tool user can generate a session in one click

This extension allows you to extract credentials from a federated AWS console login so that you can use command line tools like terraform or AWSCLI.

Assume an STS role on your PC or Mac to log in to your AWS account. When the extension detects a SAML assertion signed with the role it is running as, it will extract the service, access and region credentials from the assertion.

Extract the SAML assertion from the provided web portal and you will be able to access AWS services using your extracted credentials.
