Salterio Biennale - Liturgy of the Hours is an Android application designed for Education & Reference category with a focus on books. It provides access to the official prayer of the Catholic Church, the Liturgy of the Hours, which is a sacramental participation in the personal prayer of Jesus Christ. The contents of the Liturgy of the Hours are based mainly on the Psalms and the reading of the Word of God, including the Old and New Testament, Catholic letters, and other writings.

This software version offers a two-year cycle enriched by a lectionary patristic. The app includes catechesis developed by Pope Benedict XVI on the figures of the saints, the Fathers, and Doctors of the Church, starting from 2008 within the Wednesday hearings, or information about the saint of the day. Salterio Biennale - Liturgy of the Hours app was born from a personal project and is made available at the request of friends and acquaintances. There are no functional changes planned, and errors or omissions in the texts will be addressed as time allows.
