It provides a visual wind gauge for the wireless, solar-powered SailTimer Wind Instrument™. The app has a simple interface with the main parameters you want, including wind angle, direction, boat speed, and True and Apparent wind speed and direction. This app also includes a traditional wind angle display showing wind fromdegrees on port or starboard. You can also use a smartwatch with this app. The app is free and available in the Play Store.

The SailTimer Wind Instrument™ is wireless and solar-powered, making it easy to use on boats of all sizes. It is the first masthead anemometer for smartphones and tablets. The app works by receiving Bluetooth LE transmissions from the masthead and reformats them for display in apps such as this one. Once your GPS data is acquired, your wind conditions will be updating every second.
