Saihate Station is an LGBTQIA+ inclusive adventure horror game with free-to-play access developed by the indie developer びぶ/viv for PC, revolving around the co-dependence of two men as they navigate feelings of love, hate, and everything in between for one another. 

Presented through a visual novel and hand-drawn anime-style character designs, Saihate Station delivers a perfect blend of psychological horror, romance, and adventure about toxic dependence between two individuals. This story-rich, JRPG-inspired title explores various themes, including crime, mystery, and dark romance, keeping players on edge as the story progresses. 

Love, hate, and co-dependence 

The narrative of Saihate Station follows the two main characters, co-workers and estranged friends Haru Akinashi and Shion Tatsunami, 26, who accidentally meet in the station of Saihate purely by fate (or is it?) and promise each other to work together and return home. Because of this, they manage to rekindle their friendship piece by piece. However, things are not as they seem. 

Step into the shoes of Haru Akinashi, a reserved and unassuming office worker who is always at the end of his manager’s reprimands, and make logic-based decisions, as these choices shape how the story unfolds and Shion Tatsunami’s level of dependence on Haru. Obstacles are in the form of simple puzzles and chase scenes that you must solve and get past through. 

The best thing about this game is you can switch in-game language to the available supported languages anytime, including Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Thai, and six others. However, note that due to the nature of this game, it is not suitable for those with mental health issues or anyone prone to sensory overload, as it depicts physical and verbal abuse, blood, murder, and more.
