SacRT SmaRT Ride is a convenient ride-sharing service offered by Via Transportation Inc. This iPhone app allows customers to request a ride within designated service boundaries. Similar to other ride-share services, users can schedule their pickup location, requested time frame, and destination. The app matches users with a SmaRT Ride bus in real-time, providing an estimated pick-up time and allowing users to track their bus in real-time.

The service offers curb-to-curb service in current service areas, where passengers are picked up and dropped off at the address they indicated during scheduling. In new service areas, corner-to-corner service is provided, where passengers are picked up and dropped off at the nearest corner or 'virtual bus stop.' In the Downtown zone, stops are at designated SacRT bus stops.
