These guidelines are issued by the Medical Directors of Emergency Medical Services in the German states of Baden-Württemberg, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Sachsen, and Sachsen-Anhalt. The app includes the unchanged contents as of July 2023.

Designed exclusively for medical professionals, SAABPR can be used to support the training of emergency medical technicians or as a quick reference tool during emergency situations. It offers a seamless browsing experience, allowing users to easily navigate between pages. Moreover, the app features interactive flow charts that link directly to relevant pages by tapping on the specific sections of the standard operating procedures and treatment pathways.
