S H R i M P is an adventure game. It is a unique third-person platformer game where you play as a shrimp in a strange, dark world. Your main goal is to complete a ritual that was left unfinished, starting by collecting cars scattered across different levels. The game is filled with scary entities that try to stop you, making it a thrilling and tense experience. 

In S H R i M P, you can't fight back against these entities. Instead, you have to use your shrimp's special abilities to escape from danger and keep your anxiety levels low. 

Anxiety and adventure 

In S H R i M P, music is important in the game because it helps calm your shrimp down, which is crucial for survival in certain levels. It includes 20 levels and offers many customization options. You can find or buy different skins and headwear for your shrimp using coins collected in the game. There are three difficulty settings — Endurance, Purgatory, and Sinner — each bringing its own challenges.  

You can choose a peaceful mode where enemies won’t bother you. An important tool in the game is the scanner, which helps you find cars and other items. You can upgrade the scanner to increase its range or detect more items. One unique mechanic is the ability to "play dead," which helps you avoid certain enemies like the Porcelain Ghost.  

As you progress, your shrimp evolves and gains new abilities that make it easier to navigate the levels. However, lack of combat may deter players who prefer action-oriented gameplay. Collecting cars across levels might become repetitive over time. Managing anxiety could be stressful for some players, detracting from enjoyment. Some players can find the mechanics and strategies challenging to master.
