The RYA SafeTrx app is an official app of the Royal Yachting Association. It allows you to plan and register your yacht's journey, and to receive alerts in case of an emergency. The app can be downloaded for free on Android devices.

The app's main menu lets you choose between the Sail Plan and Track only modes. In the sail plan mode, you can choose your yacht, add the ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival), enter the number of persons on board, and the activity type. You can then select a starting point and an endpoint. The app will automatically file the trip with the Royal Yachting Association and will notify you by email and SMS (text message) as soon as your trip is completed.

In the track-only mode, you can choose your yacht, enter the ETA, and the number of persons on board. The app will then file the trip and send you alerts as soon as your journey is completed.

To end your journey, you can press the "End Trip" button in the main menu.
