RTP Arquivos is the official public access app to the audiovisual archives of the public radio and television service. The RTP audiovisual archive serves as a true repository of the national collective memory, with a heritage that dates back to the beginning of regular radio and television broadcasts in 1936 and 1957, respectively.

The archive encompasses different media formats and a wide variety of content, ranging from fiction to documentaries, from news to entertainment, and from institutional to sports.
