Rowing in Motion - Solo (RiM) is a free Android application developed by In Motion Software Sports Technology GmbH. It is a comprehensive tool for rowers and coaches looking to track boat speed, stroke-rate, and technique metrics, with detailed live feedback on how efficiently you move your boat forward and where you can improve your rowing technique to row faster.

With RiM, you can track boat acceleration, speed, stroke-rate, distance, and technique metrics, giving you deep insight into all aspects of your stroke. The app allows you to create custom workout programs with fully customizable distance, time, and rest intervals, supporting a target stroke-rate. Coaches can use RiM to view real-time data from another instance of the app running on a device in a rowing boat using a mobile WiFi (no internet connection required).

The app also features two upgrades via in-app purchases: Boat Upgrade and Coach Upgrade. Clubs and professional rowing organizations that wish to use RiM with the whole squad and manage the data of multiple athletes should use the "RiM - For Teams" app. Using the RiM Team App requires an organization account for Analytics.
