Hell is a novel by Balqam. It has been published in Arabic and English and has been translated into many languages. The story is about a man named Mustafa who falls in love with a woman named Ihsan. Mustafa is a wealthy merchant and Ihsan is a poor woman from a low social class who is forced to work as a housekeeper. They meet and begin to live together, despite the fact that they are from different backgrounds.

The novel begins with the couple arriving at a hotel where they intend to spend the night. However, on their first night together, they are interrupted by a group of people who are looking for Mustafa. They escape the hotel and continue their journey, but on their way, they are again caught by the group of people. This time, they are not let go and are taken to a group of people who are looking for Ihsan. They struggle to get away from the group and make it to a safe place.
