In India, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra is the first and the largest self-funded independent trust that was established in India for the construction and management of the Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. This is a trust set up for the construction and management by the Government of India.
